Chapter 8 - Amour de Saiyan
Chapter eight
Vegeta passed a long and very peaceful weekend of complete solitude in the forest. He listened to the birds singing high up in the green canopy, the salmon jumping down the river and the trees blowing slowly in a balmy breeze, and for once in his painful life he was calm. So calm that he began to feel happy. Of course the hangover passed and he began to enjoy his new found freedom away from the city. The trees sheltered him like the walls of a monastery and he felt like if he could remain here alone with the birds and animals then he could put his unwholesome desires away for good, here in the forest where there were no temptat

"Could I use your shower?" Gohan smiled climbing through Yamcha's bedroom window.
"Here's the man!" Yamcha laughed folding his arms. "So what they do to you then?"
Vegeta climbed in after him, Goku had managed to dress in a dishevelled manner but was looking very sorry for himself, nursing a red hot water bottle on his head. "Thanks Vegeta." He groaned. "Well, there's nothing for it, I need to get back." He gripped on to a thin standing lamp, wobbled but managed to stay on his feet. His forest home flourished below him in an explosion of trees and wide sloping hills. The sun was settin

The roof had taken a lot longer than Goku expected, mostly because Chichi had insisted he clean up the mess the rain water had made inside the house as well. He hadn't minded but it meant he wasn't able to get out to see Vegeta at all that day but he wasn't too concerned, he had a plan. When the sun rose the next day he opened his eyes and silently swung his legs out of bed. Chichi might think he was a clumsy buffoon but when he chose it, his martial arts training let him move with the poise of a ballerina. He smiled briefly at her calm sleeping face, pulled his clothes on and tiptoed into the empty kitchen.

Chapter one
A sky the colour of papier-mâché hung heavily over Satan city, the sunlight beyond never breaking through the clouds to offer relief from the winter months that seemed to have stretched on forever. It was February 14th, Saint Valentines Day and despite the terrible weather Bulma Briefs was trying to enjoy it.
The morning had been filled with the same heart felt romance which Bulma had become accustomed to through her long years of living with Vegeta. The run up to this year's Valentines Day had found her better prepared than ever. In fact, she had started dropping hints about gifts as early as New Years. Every day she
